Dan first travelled to Kenya as a lowly film 'runner' in 1983. His first meal, after a delay in clearing equipment through customs, was a late lunch, served to him on a specially laid table, gingham tablecloth and all, overlooking the Rift Valley. He has never forgotten it!
A number of trips and many years later, Dan along with son Harry went on safari again and rediscovered the magical mix of old world civility and raw nature that is this special part of Africa. Now in partnership with Lou, Dan is combining his business expertise with his personal experience of Kenyan adventures to promote The Safari Company.
