Elsas is a luxurious oasis in the semi-desert region of Meru National Park. The lodge is named after Elsa the lioness made famous by George and Joy Adamson. It is a vast land of open plains dotted with doum palms and baobab trees, with lush vegetation along the rivers that flow through the park.

Rusinga Lodge is situated on Rusinga Island on Lake Victoria, Africas largest lake and the legendary source of the Nile. This beautiful lodge on the shores of the Lake has lush tropical gardens and is also a bird haven.
Cottages are available with adjoining verandas, perfect for families. They are spacious and the décor incorporates the wonderful local fabrics and basket ware.
There's lots to do at Rusinga; boat rides across the lake, fishing for Nile Perch, walks through fascinating fossil sites and breakfast trips to the nearby Ruma National Park to see the magnificent Roan antelope. You will have the chance to water-ski and the inflatable banana is a firm favourite with children of all ages!
